  Excellent library. Great staff and terrific catalog of books. If a book is not available at this branch it's easy to make a request and I've gotten what i wanted almost 99% of the time. The library has even gone so far as to purchase requested titles over the years. In short, I've been very satisfied.

  Just another library run by femonazis who love telling you what power points the public can use and what are theirs. At some point in time these people forgot that rates from the public pays for this facility. They actually think they own it. The degree of micro management of adults in libraries is unbelievable. Increasingly services are automated but the staff levels are very high at ratepayers expense. This is probably the reason. Not enough to do so out comes the label machine. More signs but no commonsense management. Sunshine Coast Council, the femonazis have taken over the libraries and the level of control is unnecessary. Someone needs to research why all libraries are managed by small minded people with a need to micro control. And where are the men? I thought the council was about equality. So why are all libraries managed by women? I guess it only works one way.

  We don't need middle age women telling us how to use a library. Most of us have been using them for 40 years.

  Maroochydore Library was a small haven for me when times were hard and it still is :) Thank you staff for helping me with my research and interests over the years. I am satisfied with the service and wish that everywhere in the world had a nice atmospheric library to sit down and read in. Thank for your service!
