  The academic classes are very beneficial, teachers who have extension classes are the best teachers. I recommend Maroochydore State High School as a current year 10 student, if your child is a high achiever. Although, I can't say the same for mainstream classes, because not all mainstream students take their education seriously (same as any other school, you cant blame the school for the type of young adults who enrolled). Although from what I have experienced majority of my teachers are very passionate about their role in the school and very involved depending on the application of the students themselves.
