  I highly recommend Kim Matheson for any property conveyancing work. She handled every aspect of our apartment purchase in a professional & friendly manner & kept in contact for the entire process.   Requested a quote for simple conveyancing and received an invoice that was far more than the price quoted, (ended up being more expensive than other lawyers' quotes). Furthermore, after paying for searches, I was not informed of critical information in one of the searches. I only found out the information in the Search by mistake via a third party. I also had to remind them to send the refund from settlement monies (deposited into their Trust account) AFTER receiving their letter of finalisation of Settlement. Would rate as lazy in terms of not looking thoroughly at information on searches and also in forwarding refunds; expensive in terms of cost and not honouring their quotes. I also asked for a quote for a very simple Will. They quoted $800 (this was compared to quotes of $150 to $200 at other solicitors. (I was gobsmacked & nearly fell off the chair when told $800 for a simple Will). In terms of making an informed decision on price, accurate information/communication & service delivery - 1/10. In my opinion, do not take their word on any quotes.
